Scentsy

So I finally decided to stop fighting my addiction and I signed up to sell Scentsy.

I first learned about Scentsy from my sister, Laurin. At first, when people would tell me about Scentsy, I just didn't get what the hype was all about. Finally, I was able to see them in action at my sister's house. It was awesome. Her house smelled wonderful. I thought, "wow, these would really be great for me at home with young kids." Since Scentsy is flameless, I could use them at home without worrying about my kiddos getting hurt. The wax being safe to touch was a great kid friendly plus too.

I am totally addicted to Scentsy now.

And I love most that Scentsy is very low pressure sales. It is not like most direct sales where you go listen to a huge big sales pitch. You can just put the baskets of scents out for people to smell and a group of friends can just sit around and chat.

I even have a basket size party collection of the scents that I can mail out if you live in another state and want to do a party to get FREE stuff. Seriously it is really that love pressure.

Here is a link to my website with the catalog:

The new tropical stuff they have out is so yummy smelling. I am in love with the Cranberry Mango.

No Need For April Fools Over Here...

We woke up to poor Cami with a stomach virus. No fever. Just lots of the yucky stuff. He's missing his Egg Hunt at school. He was so sad.

Rich stayed home with the boys while I took Kailey to school and stopped by the store to pick up some Sprite/Pedialyte and other stomach virus essentials. Kailey went with me to the store since we had a few minutes before school. She had spent the night with her Nana a few weeks ago and Nana always lets her "earn" some money over there doing random things around her house. Kailey happened to have her purse with her and decided all on her own today, she wanted to buy Cameron 3 hot wheels. She told me he would be able to play with those in bed today while he wasn't feeling good. How sweet, right? Especially considering those two are at eat other's throats most of the time. I tried to get her to let me pay for them but she wanted to use her own money and pay the clerk. Very very sweet stuff.

Dropped her off at school and headed back home. As I was walking back in the door with the groceries, I got a call on my cell. It was the bounce house place, guess what the bounce house I'd reserved for Nate's birthday Saturday, just came back and was damaged. "Would I like an Iron Man one, or a Ninja Turtle one?" Seriously? Really? Was the lady serious? This is a one year old's party. Its a cookie monster theme. Some how I don't think those would work. I was just thinking, who was playing a joke on me this morning?? The only thing she could do was this huge 5-in-1 Sesame Street thing.

Lordy, not sure that will even fit in the backyard here. But we'll get it for the same price so we'll figure out something. Seriously Nate's party planning is lacking. Still have no plan for food. I have a bounce house, cupcakes, the grandparents and siblings coming. I'm going to get an "F" for planning this one.

Anyway, so after the bounce house news, Rich goes to work and I get the boys breakfast, start laundry and picking up some stuff in the kitchen. Cameron requests Mommy play cars with him. Ever wish you had video cameras in your eye balls or something? Cam, Nate, and I are laying on the floor playing hot wheels. I so stink at playing cars. I make mine do things like run errands, go to the bank, the grocery store. Cameron thinks I'm lame, I need to do some racing with race cars. Nate is sooo stinking cute. He grabs a car and starts copy catting the best he can. He's making the same noises Cameron does. Crashes his cars just like brother. Nate would copy something and then look at Cam with the biggest grin on his face. And Cam would show him how to do something else crazy with a car and then they would both laugh at mom's driving her race car to the bank. Its moments like that I wish I could video tape and save forver. Be able to watch what I am seeing through my eyes again. Because you know if you go get a camera the kids will totally stop.

My kids may drive me nuts. But it is times like these I want to remember every second.

Natey Boogers is almost one...

How the heck did this happen? How is my baby who was just born yesterday, days away from being 1?!? He was supposed to remain cuddly and sleepy and newborn sized so I could enjoy him forever. With your first baby you can't wait until they talk, walk, etc. With your third(last), you want to slow down time. Savor every second of the baby stage.

Noodle doodle is standing on his own now. He thinks its awesome to stand right next to the glass coffee table, let go, start laughing hysterically and wobble and then fall down on his bum. Gives mommy and daddy a heart attack but he thinks its great fun. And we repeat this about 7,000 times a day.

I have so not planned a party for Nate like I usually do. We ordered cupcakes and have a bounce house. But there is rain in the forecast so who knows if that will go through. Its just cousins, but still, our house is so tiny it would be nice to have space for the kiddos to play outside.

I'm loving this little guy. I wish I could keep him this size forever.

What a Day

Please tell me other people have days like this.

I dropped Kailey off at school and the boys and I decided to hit up TJ Max and see what they had. Nathan immediately turns into a wet noodle trying his best to fall completely out of the cart. He is pulling things off the rack as we walk by. Cameron is begging for a toy. I finally agree to the toy if he will have a good shopping trip. Then he starts whining every five seconds about when we are going to leave. I was so ready to go myself and the rain starts. COmpletely pouring rain. One of the workers at the store stood with my kids while I went to get the van close to the door. I am soaked. Get the boys in the car and drive through Starbucks. COffee. Maybe it will change my shitty day. I sit in the parking lot drinking my coffee, reading my phone because its POURING and both kids have fallen asleep. No way I wanted to drag them back out of the car in the rain.

Cameron wakes up and asks if we can go to McDonalds to play. I agree since I need Cameron to burn off some energy. We run into two of Cameron's classmates. Fun right? Wrong. Cameron and one of his classmates get in a shoving match over who gets to play with the other classmate Ava. Awesome. So we are out of McDonalds.

We go by to check the work on the new house. Cameron runs around like a bat out of hell in the house. Throwing rocks in the garage. AHHHHHHHHHH!

Load his butt back up and we go to sit in the car pool line to get Kailey. Both boys strapped in watching a DVD. Finally peace and quiet.

Pick up Kailey and realize tomorrow is our day to bring snack. Fabulous. We'll go by the store on the way home. We get one of the carts with the two seater car on the front. K and C are too big to both sit in the car. Nate is in the cart seat. Cameron gets out and decides he is going to sit on TOP of the car part. I am like WHATEVER keeps you quiet at this point. We walk down the baby food idea and Nate goes into hysterics when I put a bottle of formula in the cart. I end up having to open a baby bottle and make him a bottle in the store so he would calm down. Ghetto. I know. By this point I am praying for patience and not to kill anyone. Kailey and Cameron are doing their bickering back and forth.

We get home. Halleluiah! Right? I start putting the groceries away. I was attempting to put a spaghetti jar in the trash can and Cameron comes running into the kitchen and slams the trash can lid just as I was tossing the jar. Crash, glass every where. I am wearing flip flops OF COURSE. So now I have a bloody foot and glass and spaghetti sauce all over the floor.

Wow I really need to update more often. I haven't done this in forever.

Really I have lots of times, my kids are doing cute things...I feel like I am only ever blogging the crazy stuff. Need to work on that.

I think I'm cursing myself... but this is the first time since we've been in the new house that all three kids are napping at the same time! Yahoo!

Catching up...

Well a lot has been going on in our lives. Rich was laid off in May. I went back into the hospital a week after that. We put our house on the market, not knowing how long it could take for him to find a job, we tried to play it safe. We worked out booties off getting the house ready to sell. Rich found a job new job, that was actually a raise and a promotion. We decided to go ahead and list our house anyway, since the last time we listed it was on the market for 9 months and didn't sell. And to our surprise, our house sold in 6 days! They wanted us out in 2 weeks. Full priced offer. We had told our neighbors who had been coming by worried about us leaving, that we wouldn't go without a full priced offer. Well we got one, so we had to pack up. No place to go, we hadn't even considered where to move yet. We are finally settling down in our rental. We are totally living all Sanford and Son like, our garage is PACKED with cardboard boxes. But we aren't about to haul all the holiday stuff up two stories to the attic. We aren't going to be here that long, *crossing fingers*.

We have a contract to build a house fairly close to our rental. We are going back and forth with the architect with changes. The first bump was that the changes we wanted wouldn't allow the house on the lot we picked. So we're working through those changes trying to get something to work out.

Its funny how things work out. Usually I pray for something tangible or visbile to happen. When all this chaos started happening, I just prayed for peace. As in I put it all in God's hands and knew he had a plan, then I just prayed for peace that I could have faith and not be up tossing and turning all night. God really was watching out for us. I am so thankful, I cannot even express it enough in words.

Anyhoo.. we're camping out in what the kids call our "little while" house while we wait for another one to be built. It was supposed to be finished in January. But we've been going back and forth on the floor plan for almost 6 weeks now. I'm ready to get that show on the road!

I had to pull the kids out of their preschool they loved. It made me sad but it was just too far to drive everyday for a few hours. I was able to get Cameron in one preschool, but Kailey was waitlisted. I'm praying something opens up where they can both go together. Kailey is the one that really loves school, but Cameron is the one that really needs to go. So I'm just hoping something opens up soon.

Once again our phone and address has changed if you need it, just email me. :)
